For those who have sat in my chair over the years, you already know… I don’t believe in surface conversations when it comes to skin, entrepreneurship, and life.
Reflecting on 30 Years at Rescue Spa
At Rescue Spa, every treatment begins the same way: close observation, thoughtful questions, and a respect for what the skin is quietly communicating. After more than 30 years as a master esthetician, I still find the work endlessly fascinating. Skin is never static. It shifts with lifestyle, stress, environment, hormones, and increasingly, with how much we ask of it.
A New Chapter on Substack
Lately, I’ve been putting more of these observations into writing.

You can now find me on Substack, where I share:
- What I’m seeing in the treatment room.
- What continues to surprise me.
- The disciplined rituals that consistently bring skin back to balance.
It’s a natural extension of the conversations I have every day at Rescue Spa — just a bit more unfiltered, a bit more behind the scenes.
Expect notes on:
- Barrier health, persistent acne
- Post-inflammatory pigmentation
- Overworked routines
- The small but powerful adjustments that often change everything
Some pieces are technical, some more reflective, all rooted in the same clinical eye I’ve carried through decades of hands-on work.
Join Me on Substack
If you’re someone who appreciates a thoughtful approach to skincare: grounded, experience-led, and quietly results-driven, I would love for you to follow along.
You can subscribe to my Substack and join me there for ongoing skin insights, professional guidance, and the kind of real-world perspective that only comes from years inside the treatment room.
Warmly,
Danuta Mieloch
